Mary Shaw began her UX design adventure as a project manager in the 90’s, working on large corporate websites and apps. In 2006 she became an independent UX consultant, and has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies, agencies and startups. With almost 20 years of industry experience, she's thrilled to begin passing on her knowledge to the next generation of UX Designers.

Jorge Baltazar is a UX Designer at Pearson in San Francisco. He has been apart of several instructional teams for General Assembly's UX Design courses. His journey to UX has included landscape architecture, front-end development, teaching, urban planning, and geography.

Vicky Morville is an independent UX consultant with 20 years experience in the field of UX design and research. She has worked with hundreds of apps on every platform, including iOS, Android, tablets, and websites. Before becoming a consultant, she founded the University of Michigan Usability Lab.

Brian Tepfenhart has been working in the fields of UX, UI, and visual design for the better part of 8 years. He has worked for full-service communications companies, tech corporations, and small start-ups in addition to working as a freelancer and entrepreneur. He is passionate about solving problems in any medium and loves to share that passion with others.

Julia loves learning and is especially passionate about User Experience design. While she has a college degree or two, she has always gone the untraditional route and believes in learning for the joy of it. She currently works full time as a senior UX designer as well as teaches courses about design and runs a UX book club. http://www.juliad.com.

Danielle cares about making products and services delightfully human. Bringing international experience in branding and advertising agencies, such as DDB Tribal, she now applies her love of building brands and products to her own tech-company, as co-founder and creative director of Capsule.fm - which reached top paid news app in 19 countries on the AppStore.

Allison began her love affair with UX six years ago and since then has worked on several award winning platforms and mobile apps (some #1 in the App Store). After a brief stint as a game designer at Disney Mobile, she now works as a consultant and independent project manager, guiding clients across time zones and product stages from concept to launch.

With over ten years experience in the design industry, Wojciech Hubert, is the latest to join our UX Design mentor team. Having worked as a freelance UX Designer for the last two years he can share his vast experience and expertise in the field with his students, putting the user back at the heart of web design.
